Director of Operations and Quality Systems
Michael Haessly joined NDI Medical in 2005 and is responsible for all Corporate Operations, Quality, IT and Facility Management functions.
He has over 30 years of experience in Operations, Product Development and Implementation, Project Management, Quality Systems Development and Regulatory Affairs in the Medical, Automotive, Packaging, Consumer Products and Chemical industries where he has served as Director and COO levels.
Michael is a leader in developing and commercializing new products, setting up lean six-sigma production facilities, and promotes continuous improvement. In addition he is a recognized expert in developing and deploying FDA compliant and ISO certified quality systems from the ground up, transitioning quality systems from ISO 9000 to ISO 13485 and integration of multiple plant systems into an overall corporate system.
He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), and Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) and is one of a few people to obtain this level of certification.
Michael holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland).
