Biography
Maria Bennett joined NDI Medical in 2004, after two years as a Clinical Project Manager for Boston Scientific. There, she led a team in the management and implementation of a large, multi-center clinical trial to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of an innovative angioplasty balloon for peripheral interventions. For this work, Boston Scientific awarded the project team a Vision Award for Excellence. Bennett spent the previous five years as a Biomedical Engineer with NeuroControl Corporation, directing the research and development team and leading clinical feasibility studies for various neurostimulation products. In her dual role managing the company's clinical studies, Bennett directed a multi-center study for a pain management neurostimulation therapy device. While working towards her master's degree in biomedical engineering, which she earned from Case Western Reserve University , Bennett conducted research in clinical applications of electrical stimulation.
